Message problem is if you thread in the bolt a lot of times they crack from the pressure put on the bolt to tighten then into place or when you thread it in the thread gets a run in it and flows all the way to the top of the bolt. It is a pain. I had to redo 5 bolts out 11 for the plenum....I just said the hell with it and had then chrome plated. Was a lot more durable but still a bit fragile as well. I had chroming bolts cause they always chip, flake or just plain look ugly a lot of times. I'm gonna be investing in a a small oven and fab a small powder coating room to powder coat small parts soon. If I can find the time that is.
